Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs the Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chief Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Petroleum and Mineral Affairs Chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals on Sunday in the Royal Diwan-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh in the presence of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General and the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals, princes and members of the Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals. After the meeting, State Minister and member of the demand, Dr. Abdullah bin Nafisa and a member of the Council of Ministers and the Secretary General of Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals, noted that the Board reviewed the meeting at the beginning of the oil market situation and the Kingdom's keenness on the interests of producing and consuming countries. This economic electronic newspaper's website said that council expressed satisfaction with the functioning of the Kingdom's investments to expand production capacity of crude oil and refining capacity to help meet global demand and it is proceeding according to schedule planned with the efforts of the Kingdom of the effort in the field of environmental protection. The Council then considered the issues on its agenda and took decisions in the matters, including: adoption of action plans Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), the adoption of the annual reports of the company and the ratification of the company's balance sheet and profit and loss. The council also approved the appointment of external auditor for the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) and its affiliates. The Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals also briefed on the technical report and financial and statistical activities of companies carrying mining licenses. The council also discussed some issues related to oil and minerals.m.e
