Saudi Aramco was mandated the establishment of Jizan refinery soon

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, Ali Naimi, announced recently that Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) was appointed to establish the Jizan refinery soon. The minister Al-Naimi said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency that the ministry had considered setting up a refinery in Jazan area following the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. He added that the project was launched to compete and have been rehabilitated to 8 Saudi companies and then was invited and the invitation (42) global oil company to form coalitions that include a consortium or more of the companies invited to submit their bids. Meanwhile, the state-run Saudi Aramco and Shell recently said they have signed a contract with Japanese J. G. C Gulf International to build two units in the refinery joint in an effort to improve the environmental performance of the refinery. a.a
