The final statement of OPEC’s meeting maintains production as is without change
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Oil ministers decided to keep the production ceiling amounting to about 30 million barrels per day unchanged at current level due to an abundance of supply.

    Dr. Ali Saleh Al Omeir, Ministry of Oil and the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, shall head the delegation of the State of Kuwait to the ministerial meeting of the Fourteenth International Energy Forum. Russia shall be hosting this meeting in Moscow between 15-16 May 2014 jointly with the United Kingdom and Iraq. The delegation accompanying his excellence shall include representatives of the Ministry of Oil and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. The delegation shall also include the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Russia Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Adwani.
