The Ministry of Oil announced that it will participate at the meeting of media specialists at Gulf Cooperation Countries to be held tomorrow at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat General in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will last until 19 June.
Sheikh Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah granted Kuwait Oil Limited Company with the participation of Protol British Company "BP" and American Oil Gulf Company "Gulf Oil" the right of franchise of concessionaire to explore oil in all Kuwait lands and territorial water for 75 year period and this was on 23rd December 1934.

Sheikha Tamador Khaled Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Supervisor of Public Relations at the Ministry of Oil, declared that the State of Kuwait hosted the Gulf Cooperation Council First Petroleum Media Forum under the slogan “Petroleum Media at Gulf Cooperation Council… Reality and Aspirations” organized by the Ministry of Oil in coordination with the Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council on March 25th – 26th 2013.
